Preheat oven to 350F, 9x13 pan
In a large mixing bowl soak the bread in milk. Press with hands
until well mixed and all milk is absorbed. In a separate bowl, beat
eggs, sugar, vanilla , and spices all together. Gently stir into bread
mixture. Gently stir in raisins.
Pour butter on the bottom of pan and along sides. Coating completely. Pour in bread mixture and bake at 350F for 35-45
minutes, until set The pudding is done when the edges start
getting a bit brown and pull away from the edge of the pan.
