Mix honey with milk (which may be warm). When they are blended, add the beaten eggs and stir in sifted flour sifted with the baking powder and salt. Stir to a batter; then add melted shortening. Bake in greased muffin tins.
Berries may be added; the mixture may also be used for individual steamed fruit puddings.
