Ingredients
12 thick slices whole wheat bread
1/3 cup butter or margarine
4 cups milk
1 1/4 cup molasses
 

Instructions
Spread the bread generously with creamed butter and cut in cubes. Arrange in a baking dish. Mix milk and molasses; reserve 1/2 cup and pour remainder over bread. Bake in a reflector oven for 40 minutes, stirring twice during first 30 minutes; then add remaining milk and finish cooking.
