     Raspberry Cream Cheese Coffee Cake

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup sugar
12 tbs. butter
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup sour cream
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 tsp. almond extract
1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup raspberry jam
1/2 cup sliced almonds

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9 in. springform pan. In large bowl, combine flour and sugar; cut in the butter, using pastry blender or two knives, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Remove 1 cup of crumbs for topping. To remaining crumb mixture, add baking soda, powder, salt, sour cream, egg, and almond extract; blend well. Spread the dough over the bottom and 2 in. up side of prepared springform pan. Dough should be in. thick on all sides.
In small bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, and egg; blend well. Pour over dough in pan. Carefully spoon jam evenly over cheese filling.
In small bowl, combine 1 cup crumb mixture and almonds; sprinkle over the top. Bake for 50 to 60 min, or until cream cheese filling is set and crust is deep golden brown.
