     Karen's Country Fried Steak

Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs ground chuck
4 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
3/4 C plus 3 Tbl flour
3 Tbl fat
21/2 C milk
 

Instructions
Combine meat, 1 tsp salt, pepper and 3/4 C flour; mix well. Roll out with rolling pin about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into 4x4 inch pieces.
Place meat into hot fat in a skillet. Cook until lightly browned. Remove meat from skillet.
Add remaining flour to skillet stirring constantly; cook until browned. Add milk and remaining salt. Cook until thick.
Serve gravy over country fried steak.
