     Pot Roast

Ingredients
3 to 4 pound beef brisket, rump or pot roast
3 potatoes, pared and quartered
2 to 3 carrots, pared and sliced or 1/2 cup baby carrots
1 chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 cup beef broth
1 package dry onion mix
or ( alternate 1 can mushroom soup)
1 bay leaf
 
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions
Put vegetables in bottom of crock pot. Add beef. Sprinkle seasonings and soup mix over beef. Add liquid.Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours.
