     Autumn Soup

Ingredients
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 28 oz. can of crushed tomatoes plus 1 can of water
1-2 medium potatoes, cubed
1 carrot stick, sliced
1 bay leaf
1/2 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 - 1/2 tsp. Gravy Master or Kitchen Bouquet
1 Bay leaf
 
Salt & Pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. dried basil
Fresh parsley to garnish

Instructions
In a large pot, add the lean ground beef, onion and garlic. Cook on medium heat until meat is browned and the onions are soft. When done, strain off any grease from the meat.
Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a slow boil. Lower the heat and simmer until the potatoes and carrots are tender. The Kitchen Bouquet enhances the taste and color of the soup.
This soup can be eaten right away, but the longer it sits the better it tastes. Tastes best the next day. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with salad and a rustic bread for a hearty meal!
