     Gingerbread Baby

Ingredients
3 cups flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tbs. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
12 tbs. (1-1/2 sticks) unsalted butter
 
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup molasses
1 tbs. vanilla

Instructions
Preheat Oven to 375 Degrees. In a Large Bowl sift and mix together first 7 ingredients. In another bowl or mixer cream butter, sugar and egg. Stir the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture then add molasses and vanilla. Let dough rest at least two hours, Roll dough 1/4 in. thick and cut with a cutter. Bake 7-10 mins. on a greased cookie sheet. Do not peek!
