     Beetroot halwa

Ingredients
Beetroot shredded-3 nos
Jaggery Shredded- to taste
Cardamom powder- 1 pinch
Ghee/marmalade-1/2 table spoon
Almonds, raisins, Cashews- for garnishing
 

Instructions
Heat some ghee/marmalade and add the beetroot. Sprinkle some water and cover the pan and let it cook for 5 mins or till half cooked
Now add the jaggery and mix the contents well and cook covered for 5-7 mins or till the jaggery has dissolved and the beetroot is cooked completely
Now add the cardomom powder and switch off the flame Now roast some almonds raising and other dry fruits of your choice and ganish it and serve Hot
