     Pasta sauce

Ingredients
whole large onion
1/2 head garlic
1/2 tsp fennel seed
anchovey
3-4 lbs beef
tomatoe can whole
tomatoe can diced/sauce
basil
oregano
 

Instructions
Dice onion, mince garlic. In large pot on med heat with tbs olive oil cook onions and garlic and pinch salt, 1/2 tsp fennel seed (for spicey add chilli flakes) until translucent. Add 3 minced anchovey or 1 tsp of anchovey paste. turn up heat to med/high and put in heaping tbs of tomato paste and combine all ingredients until paste starts to slightly stick to bottom of pan. Add 3-4lbs pre-cooked drained beef. Toss beef in sauce. Add 1 large tin of whole tomatoes and 1 large tin of tomato sauce OR diced tomatoes. Bring sauce to a boil then reduce to simmer and add in fresh basil and oregano for 30min-3 hrs.
