Stuff 24 pitted dates with 24 walnut halves. Make
meringue by beating 1 egg white until soft peaks
form. Gradually beat in sugar, vinegar, vanilla,
continuing beating until stiff. Using fork, dip
each date into meringue. Place on greased cookie
sheet. Bake at 250 degrees for 35 minutes.
