Mix water, syrup, sugar and food coloring in large saucepan and bring to a boil. Add peanuts and cook until it forms a hard ball or reaches 265 degrees on a candy thermometer. Take off fire and add 1 stick oleo. Beat until it creams up and pour onto a cookie sheet that has been buttered.
