(USE GLOVES WHEN HANDLING HOT PEPPERS)
Chop peppers and blend all of first 3 ingredients in blender until liquified. Pour into large pot. Add 6 cups sugar and 1 cup vinegar. Bring mixture to a boil. Remove from heat and remove skin (foam). Add 6 oz Certo and either red or green food color. Return to heat and boil hadr for one minute. Remove from heat and fill jars to within 1/2 inch from top.
