2-3 lbs spare ribs (have butcher cut in half across the bone)
salt
pepper
garlic salt
1/2 cup open pit BBQ sauce, hickory smoke flavor
1/4 cup catsup
1/4 cup prepared mustard
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°. Cut spareribs into bit sized pieces (one or two riblets). Place in large, flat pan without overlapping. Sprinkle very generously with salt, pepper, garlic salt. Bake 1 hour or until almost crispy. Drain well
Simmer remaining ingredients 15-20 minutes, making sure sugar is melted. Toss ribs with sauce and return to over about 10 minutes.
