     Pumpkin Spice muffins

Ingredients
1/2 c. each of granulated sugar & brown sugar
6 T. butter (softened)
2 t. each of cinnamon & vanilla
1 1/2 t. ginger
1/2 t. cloves
1 t. each of baking powder & baking soda
3/4 t. salt
2 eggs plus 2 egg whites
1 1/4 c. pumpkin
 
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries, halved
2/3 c. confectioner's sugar
3 T. pure maple syrup

Instructions
Heat oven to 350. Fill 20 muffin cups with liners. Beat sugars, butter, spices, vanilla, baking powder, baking soda, & salt in large bow with mixer on med. speed 2 minutes until blended. 2 . Beat in eggs & egg whites. Beat in pumpkin puree on low speed until just combined. alternately beat in flour, then milk, until just blended. Stir in berries. 3. Put 1/4 c. batter in each muffin cup. Bake 30 min. or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool 5 min. in pans on rack. 4. Drizzle- Up to 4 hours before serving, stir ingredients in small bowl until smooth. Scrape into a small ziptop bag. Cut a small tip from one corner of bag & drizzle over muffins.
