     White Bread

Category   Breakfast - Brunch
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
1 yeast packet
1/2 cup warm water
4 tsp sugar
1 tbsp salt
1 heaping tbsp crisco
4 cups flour
4 cups warm water

Instructions
Dissolve the packet of yeast in the 1/2 cup of warm water. Add the sugar, salt, crisco and 4 cups of water, mix well.
Stir in the flour until it forms a thick dough. Take out of bowl and knead well on a floured board.
Now here is where the vague family recipes come into play. I clearly remember the white bread that Grandma Chaney made and I know for a fact that she let it raise, poked wholes in it to deflate it and then baked it. That is not written on my card, but I advise it.
The card simply says bake at 350, but not for how long. I would recommend testing it at intervals after 30 mins until you feel it's done.
