     Peach Cobbler Bread

Ingredients
1/3 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/3 c. water
1 tsp vanilla
1 c peaches (peeled, sliced)
1 2/3 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
 
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 c chopped pecans
2 Tb chopped pecans
2 Tb brown sugar

Instructions
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in water and vanilla. Stir in peaches. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in pecans. Pour into a greased loaf pan.
Combine topping ingredients; sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 for 50-55 min. or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clea. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan.
