     Strawberry Ribbon Pie

Ingredients
1 baked pie shell
1 small box (3 oz) strawberry flavored gelatin
1/4 c. powdered sugar
1 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz) pkg frozen strawberries
1 T. lemon juice
13 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
1 t. vanilla
1 c. whipping cream
 
dash of salt
Instructions
Dissolve gelatin and sugar in boiling water. Add frozen berries and lemon juice. Stir until berries thaw. Chill until partially set.
White layer: Blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla and salt. Whip whipping cream. Slowly fold in small amounts of whipped cream. Spread half the white cheese mixture over bottom of pie shell. Cover this with half the gelatin mixtue. Repeat layers. Chill until set.
Serving Suggestions
Raspberries and raspberry gelatin may also be used.
