1/2 C shortening
|

1 C sugar

1 tsp vanilla

1 egg

1 can pumpkin

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp cinnamon

2 C flour

1/2 to 1 C chocolate chips

Instructions |

Cream shortening and sugar together. Add vanilla, egg and pumpkin and beat together.

Add baking powder, cinnamon, and flour. Beat well.
|
|
|
|
Stir chocolate chips in by hand. Drop by spoonful on greased baking sheet.
|
|
|
|
Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 10 minutes. Will come out appearing a little wet, this is normal as these are more of a cake-type cookie.
