     Apple-Bavarian Torte

Ingredients
CRUST
1/2 c butter or margarine
1/3 c sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 c flour
CHEESE MIXTURE
1 pkg (8 oz) cream cheese
1/4 c sugar
1 egg
 
1/2 tsp vanilla
APPLE MIXTURE
1/3 c sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
6 sm apples, peeled and sliced

Instructions
CRUST- Cream margarine, add sugar, vanilla and flour. Press into flat bottom of a spring form pan or pan of equal size. Set aside.
CHEESE MIXTURE- In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Pour over crust.
APPLE MIXTURE- Prepare apple mixture and spread over top of cheese layer.
Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 400 degrees and continue baking for additional 25 minutes.
