     Pulled Pork

Category   Entrees - Maindishes
Sub Category   None

Ingredients
1 medium chopped onion
1/2 cup ketchup
1/3 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup tomato paste
2 tbl sweet paprika
2 tbl worcestershire sauce
2 tbl yellow mustard
1 1/2 tsp salt

1 1/4 tsp black pepper
4 lbs fresh pork butt cut into 4 pieces
12 tosted sandwich buns

Instructions
In 5 - 6 qt. crock pot, stir in onion, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, tomato paste, paprika, worcestershire, mustard, salt and pepper until all are completely mixed. Add pork to the mixture and completely coat with sauce. Cover slow cooker pot and cook at low temperature about 8 - 10 hours. Before removing make sure the pork is tender.
Move pork to large bowl. Turn on slow cooker setting to high and cover. Bring the sauce to boiling so that it will thicken and be slightly reduced. While the sauce boils, begin to shred the meat with some forks. Return to the cooker and combine with some sauce. Cover, heat thoroughly on high.
