     Eleanor's Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
1/2 C butter or margarine
1 3/4 C sugar
3 eggs
4 packets redi-blend chocolate
2 C sifted cake flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 c milk
1 tsp vanilla
 

Instructions
Cream butter. Gradually add sugar, creaming well.Add eggs one at a time; beat well after each. Mix in chocolate. Sift flour with soda and salt. Algernately add to mixture with milk; beat well after each addition. Mix in vanilla. Pour into two 9 inch layer pans, lined on the bottom with paper. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool.
Alway start and finish with flour when adding alternately with milk.
