Combine sugar, shortening, & eggs. Stir well. Add
salt, vanilla, baking soda, & the water. Mix well
and add baking powder. Stir well and add enough
flour (abut 5 cups) to make a stiff dough. Bake in
375 degree oven for 7-8 minutes.
