     Crabless or Chicken Rangoon

Ingredients
1 pkg wonton wrappers
1 pkg cream cheese
1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
1 Tbsp onion powder
Butter
Chicken (if desired)
salt and pepper
 

Instructions
Chop onions into small pieces. Mix together cream cheese, onion, onion powder, salt and pepper to taste and chicken if chosen. Brush wonton wrapper edges with water and put a small spoonful of cheese mixture to the center. Bring corners together and pinch to seal.
To bake- Dip each rangoon in melted butter. Place each on a cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for 7 minutes, turn over and bake for an additional 3-5 or until golden brown.
To fry- Deep fry or pan fry 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
