1/2 C. BUTTER
1& 1/4 C. SUGAR
1 EGG
1/2 t. ANISE OIL OR 2 t. ANISE EXTRACT
3 & 1/4 C. FLOUR
4 t. BAKING POWDER
1 t. SALT
1/4 C. MILK
 

Instructions
CREAM BUTTER AND SUGAR. ADD EGG AND ANISE. SET ASIDE. MIX FLOUR, BAKING POWDER AND SALT. ADD MILK ALTERNATELY WITH FLOUR AND FORM DOUGH.
DIVIDE DOUGH IN HALT TINT ONE HALF RED. ROLL INTO PENCIL SHAPE RODS AND TWIST ONE WHITE AND ONE RED TOGETHER AND SHAPE TO FORM CANDY CANE,
BAKE AT 350 FOR 10 MIN OR TILL BROWN ON BOTTOM
