Ingredients
500g meat (pork neck fillet or casserole beef)
2 onions
30g (2 tablespoons) frying fat e.g. olive oil or butter
1 tablespoon plain flour
240ml cream
black and white peppercorns
1 teaspoon of sugar
salt
500ml stock (chicken, beef or vegetable)
 
powdered sweet paprika (best smoked)

Instructions
Cut your meat into required sized pieces (thick slices or chunky cubes). Tenderize the meat with a meat mallet. Coat the meat in flour. Heat up the oil/butter in a pan and brown the meat on all sides. Add the chopped onions, black and white peppercorns, paprika, sugar and stock.
Cover, bring to the boil and simmer on low for approximately 90 minutes. If the sauce starts to evaporate too much, top up with more stock or water.
Season to taste. Take out a cup full of the sauce into a mug and gently mix in the cream. Return creamy sauce to the pot and serve warmed up accompanied by boiled baby potatoes and vegetables of your choice.
