As many Mrs. T's Potato and Cheddar frozen pierogies as you can eat
sliced yellow onion
2 T butter or margarine
splash of oil (to keep butter from burning)

Nuke the pierogies for about 60 secs to take off the freeze. They won't cook through without burning if you skip this step.
Melt the butter in a saute pan. Add the sliced onions and cook over medium heat until they start getting translucent.
Add the pierogies to the pan and lower the heat. Cover and saute each side until browned while stirring the onions often so they don't brown.
