     Baked Beans Creole

Ingredients
3 slices bacon, diced
1/2 cup minced onion
2 (15 ounce) cans baked beans
1 (15 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
1 teaspoon sugar
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Fry bacon until crisp. Remove from pan. Brown onions in bacon grease and combine with bacon. Arrange beans and bacon - onion mixture in alternate layers in sprayed 3 quart baking dish. Mix tomatoes and sugar and pour over all. bake for about 30 minutes.
