     Scalloped Cabbage

Ingredients
Small head of cabbage, chopped (about 4 cups)
4 Tbsp. butter
4 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cup milk
4 oz. velvetta cheese
3/4 cup bread crumbs (or 2 slices of toast crumbed)
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
 

Instructions
Boil cabbage for 3 mins., then drain.
In a saucepan, heat 4 Tbsp butter over med.. Stir in flour, salt and pepper; cook until bubbly. Gradually stir in milk,; cook and stir until thickened. Fold in cheese.
Pour 1/2 of cheese mixture into a greased casserole dish. Put cabbage on top of mixture. Then pour remaining mixture over cabbage.
In a small sacepan, melt remaining butter. Add bread crumbs and mix well. Put on top of casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 20-30 mins.
