     Aunt Elaine's Pumpkin Pie Squares

1 package yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 egg
1 can (1 lb 15oz) pumpkin pie mix (the one with the spices)
2 eggs
2/3 cup milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup butter

Grease the bottom only of a 13x9x2 inch pan. Reserve 1 cup cake mix for topping. Combine remaining cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg. Press into pan to make the bottom crust. Combine the pumpkin pie mix, 2 eggs, and milk. Beat until smooth. Pour over crust. Combine the reserved cake mix, sugar, cinnamon, and margarine (not melted). Cut the butter in so it is dry and crumbly. Sprinkle over the filling. Bake in a 350 degree oven 45-50 minutes, or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
Easy to make dairy-free by using margarine, dairy-free cake mix and almond or soy milk. It works just as well.
