Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a sprayed 9 x 13 inch baking dish, combine rice, seasoning packet and 2 cups hot water. Place chicken over rice and bake covered for 1 hour 30 minutes. Dilute mushroom soup with 1/2 cup water and mix well. Pour over chicken. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until soup bubbles and chicken is brown.
