Ingredients
3/4 lbs. Phillo Dough
1/2 lbs. unsalted butter, melted
2 cups walnuts, chopped
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup honey
2 tsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 cup water

1 cinnamon stick
1/2 tsp. whole cloves
3/4 cups granulated sugar

Instructions
Mix together walnuts, sugar, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Brush the bottom and sides of a 9x13-inch pan with melted butter. Then cut phillo to fit pan, keep moist. Lay one sheet on bottom of pan and brush evenly with butter. Repeat with three more sheets. Next spread then layer of nuts on the phillo. Repeat above steps till you run out of nuts. Then layer with 10 to 15 more layers of phillo, make sure to continue to spread with butter. Before baking use a sharp knife to cut aquare or diamond shaped pieces, cutting only half way through pasty. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour till golden brown. While it is baking, mix the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes remove from heat and let cool. When Baklava comes out of the oven, pour syrup over it, place back in over for 1 to 2 minutes. Let cool for one hour before serving.
