Dissolve gelatin in 1 1/2 cups boiling water and mix well. Add fruit cocktail and pineapple and chill until gelatin begins to thicken. Add bananas and marshmallows and pour into sherbet dishes. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate. You could also pour salad into 7 x 11 inch glass dish and cut into squares to serve.
