1 c. butter, softened

1/2 c. confectioner's sugar
|

1-1/2 t. vanilla
|
|
2 cups flour
|

1 pinch salt
|

1-1/2 t. baking powder
|

3/4 c. walnuts, chopped

|
1/3 c. confectioner's sugar, for dusting

Instructions |
|
|
Beat together butter and confecioner's sugar until creamy. Add vanilla.
|

Add nuts. Mix well. Roll dough into two balls. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for at least 1 hour.

After dough has chilled flatten dough and cut into 15-20 equal pieces. Shape into balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

|
Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes until firm but not brown. While warm, roll each cookie in confectioner's sugar. Let cool. Roll in sugar again.
