     Lazy Daisy Cake 2

Ingredients
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup cake flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
2 Tbsp butter
 
3/4 cups brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup cream
1 cup coconut

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Butter an 8x8 inch baking pan
Combine eggs, sugar and vanilla; Beat until thick. Add all dry ingredients; Mix well. Heat milk and butter to boiling point; Add to above mixture. Pour into 8x8 inch baking pan; Bake 30-40 minutes until wooden pick inserted in middle comes out with moist crumbs. Remove from oven and frost immediately with below frosting mixture.
Frosting instructions- Combine melted butter, brown sugar, cream and coconut; Mix well. Spread over hot cake; Broil until frosting is brown (watch carefully as it will burn easily)
This was Grandma Dorothy Merline Dietzler's favorite. She made it whenever Pam and Butch stayed with her.
Serving Suggestions
Serve warm or cooled
