     Canning Southwestern Spice Mix

Ingredients
3 T chili powder
2 T ground cumin
1 T fresh black pepper
1 T garlic powder
1 T salt
1 1/2 tsp dried red pepper flakes
 

Instructions
Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a small bowl. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place for up to 3 months. Dried red pepper flakes gives the spice an extra kick.
Serving Suggestions
use on cream cheese dip, chicken salad, tangy soup, chili. Good with any recipe calling for chili powder
