Cream the butter and sugar, add flour and mix well. Form into 1 inch balls, dust balls with flour. Stamp immediately with oiled, warm cookie stamp. Bake at 350 for 12-15 min. Cookies keep their shape best if refrigerated 20 minuts on the cookie sheet after pressing, before baking.

Avoid recipes that contain baking powder, baking soda or eggs as cookies will rise and distort design.
Before making dough, lightly coat stamp surfaces with cooking oil and set in a warm place.
Between pressings, use brush to clean off any cookie dough that sticks to stamp

Clean with hot water and brush DO NOT USE SOAP!
