     Whole-grain biscuit mix

Ingredients
2 c. whole-wheat pastry flour
2 c. flour
2 T. flaxseed meal
2 T. unprocessed wheat bran
1/4 c. instant dry milk
2 1/2 T. baking powder
1 t. baking soda
1 t. cream of tartar
1 1/2 t. salt
 
1/2 c oil

Instructions
In bowl of a food processor, mix flours, flaxseed meal, wheat bran, dry milk, baking powder, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt. Pulse to combine. With the processor running add oil. Turn out into a bowl and stir to make sure the oil is evenly dispersed. Store in refrigerator.
To make biscuits, heat oven to 450. Combine 2 c. mix with 1/2 c. milk. Roll or pat out mixture to 1/2 inch thickness and cut into 8 2 inch biscuits. Bake for 8 minutes.
