Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
In a med. mixing bowl, sift together the flour, salt, and baking powder and set aside.
Place egg, stevia, vanilla in a large mixing bowl, and beat well. Slowly add the butter, continuing to beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, 1/2 c. at a time, stirring well after each addition. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Drop by heaping spoonful about 2 inches apart. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or untilt he cookies are golden browm.
