Heat oven to 375. In a large bowl, stir cookie mix, cocoa, butter, sour cream, food color and egg until soft dough forms.
Roll dough into 1 inch balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 - 9 min. or until set. Cool 2 min.; remove from cookie sheet to rack. Cool completely, about 15 min.
Frost cooled cookies with creaam cheese frosting. Sprinkle with nuts. store at room temp.
