Ingredients
3 1/2-4 1/2 c. flour
3 T. sugar
1 t. salt
2 package yeast
1 c. milk
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. butter

Instructions
In large mixer bowl, thoroughly mix 1 1/2 c. flour, sugar, salt, & yeast. Combine milk, water & margarine in a saucepan heat to 120. Butter doesn't need to melt. Gradually add to dry ingredients & beat 2 minutes at medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally. Stir in 1/2 c. flour & beat at high speed 2 minutes, scrape bowl occasionally. Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough. Form into ball & place in a greased bowl, turning to grease top. Cover; let rise for 15 minutes in pan of hot water. Turn out onto floured board & divide in half. Shape into desired rolls & cover & let rise 15 minutes. Bake at 425 for 12 minutes
