Beat egg yolks with fork adding vanilla, sour cream and liquor.
Combine with flour, salt and baking powder. add in egg mixture and mix. When mixture begins to turn into a ball, place on floured board and knead.
Knead until it has a satiny finish. (If dough feels too sticky, just flour the board lightly). Roll out dough to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into strips and knot through about a 4 inch slit in the center.
Fry in hot oil until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towel and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
