     Snickerdoodle Cookies

Servings   4 to 5 dozen
Ingredients
Mix well
1 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
Sift together and stir into creamed mixture
2 3/4 cup flour
2 teaspoons cream tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
Instructions
Roll into balls the size of walnuts Roll in mix of 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon. Place on ungreased cooky sheet, BAKE AT 400 DEGREES 8 TO 10 MINUTES
