     Four Layer Torte

Ingredients
1 cup flour
1/2 cup(1 stick) margarine
1/2 cup chopped nuts
2 Tbsp sugar
1-8 ounce pkg cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup Cool Whip
2 pkg instant pudding (any flavor)
3 cups milk
 
1 cup Cool Whip

Instructions
Crust instructions- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, margarine, nuts and sugar; Mix well. Pat into 9x13 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes; let cool.
1st layer- Combine cream cheese, powdered sugar and Cool Whip; Blend well and spread over crust.
2nd layer- Combine pudding and milk; Mix slowly per pkg instruction. Let stand 10 minutes. Spread onto layer cream cheese layer.
Spread 1 cup Cool Whip over pudding layer; Refrigerate at least 8 hours or overnight before serving. Sprinkle additional chopped nuts on top, if desired.
