     Honeycomb Coffeecake

1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/3 c. milk
2 eggs
2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. almond extract
1/2 t. orange extract
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. honey
1/2 t. nutmeg
1 T. milk
1/2 t. orange extract

Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9 inch pan. Combine all coffeecake ingredients. Beat at medium speed scraping bowl often until well mixed. Spread into greased pan. Set aside. In heavy 2 qt. saucepan, combine all topping ingredients. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until mixture comes to a full boil; 5-6 minutes. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until mixture boils 2-3 minutes. Pour topping evenly over coffeecake. Bake at 350 22-27 minutes.
