Ingredients
1 1/2 c bananas, mashed, ripe
2 t. lemon juice
3 c. flour
1 1/2 t. baking soda
1/4 t. salt
3/4 c. butter, softened
2 1/8 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 t. vanilla
 
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Frosting
1/2 c. butter, softened
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 t. vanilla
3 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Instructions
Preheat oven to 275. Grease a 9x13 pan. In a small bowl, mix mashed banana with the lemon juice; set aside. In large bowl, cream 3/4 c. butter and 2 1/8 c. sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at atime, then stir in 2 t vanilla. Beat in flour mixture alternately with the buttermilk. Stir in banana mixture. Pour into prepared pan and bake in preheated oven for 1 hour or until it tests done.
