Mix all ingredients but egg whites. Beat the egg whites and mix in the cake batter. Bake in a 9x13 at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes. Check with toothpick. When it is ready to eat, I put dop over each serving.
Mix Dope ingredients and cook to boiling. Stir until dissolved.
Grandma Bonnie used this for dessert when all the kids were home and she couldn't think of anything else that would fill them up. The recipe for dope was never written until now. She used her memory and good judgement.
