     Dave's Hot Water Gingerbread

Ingredients
1/3 c molasses
1/2 c boiling water
1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 c flour
1 t baking powder
1 t soda
1 t ginger
1/4 t salt
4 T melted butter
 
Instructions
Add water to molasses and then add the dry ingredients. Add butter and beat well. Fill an 8x8 pan and bake at 325 degrees for 25-35 minutes.
This is Dave's favorite served with whipped cream and made for his birthday every December.
