Melt margarine and brown sugar. Add pretzels and press into 9x13. Bake at 350 degrees for 3-5 minutes. Cream powdered sugar adn cream cheese together. Add cool whip and mix well. Spread over cooled pretzels. Dissolve jello in 2 c boiling water adn add frozen strawberries. Stir until strawberries are separated. Pour over the cheese mixture. Chill until firm.
This dish is interesting and colorful. Most people will not be aware it contains pretzels. Joanne first served this to Kismet Club of Dresden, Ohio, a literary club formed in 1899 and going strong today.
