     Banana Bread

Ingredients
All purpose flour - 1 1/2 cups
salt - 3/4 tsp
baking soda - 1/2 tsp
baking powder - 1/4 tsp
butter - 5 1/3 Tbsp
white sugar - 2/3 cup
eggs - 2
bananas - 1 cup mashed (about 2- bananas)
walnuts (optional) - 1/2 cup
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Grease an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 loaf pan. Whisk together flour, salt, soda and baking powder. In a large bowl, beat on high speed until blended 2 - 3 minutes the butter and sugar. Beat in the flour mixture until blended--the consistency will be like brown sugar. Gradually beat in eggs (these should be beaten slightly first). Fold in mashed bananas and nuts just until combined. Put mixture in pan and spread evenly. Bake 50 - 60 minutes. Let cool in the pan for 5 - 10 minutes before taking out to cool completely on rack.
